Brockton Area Transit (Bat) will visit Meetinghouse Lane on Monday, April 13th at 11:00am to familiarize residents with weekly coordinated shopping trips offered to Hanson senior citizens and the disabled. All are welcome to attend.
Cut-A-Thon to Support Dollars for Scholars - John Russell Studio at 587 Washington Street in Whitman will be hosting a Cut-A-Thon in support of Whitman & Hanson Dollars for Scholars 2015 fundraising drive. The event will be held on Sunday, April 12 from 10AM – 12PM with all proceeds to be donated to the scholarship fund. The Cut-A-Thon is for wet cuts only. Pricing for the event will be Womens Cuts $25, Mens Cuts $15 and Childrens Cuts (under 10yrs) $15. Appointments can be made by calling 781-447-1100. Walk-ins will also be welcome.
John Russell Studio has been in business since 1989. Whitman & Hanson~Dollars for Scholars is a local chapter of Scholarship America established in 1962. Community volunteers raise scholarship funds for graduating high school seniors from the two towns.

Town Clerk’s Office will be closed on Wednesday April 8th and Friday April 10th.
There will be a Special Voter Registration session held on Tuesday, April 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. This is the last day to register to vote at the May 4, 2015 Special & Annual Town Meetings and the May 16th Town Election. Any citizen may register to vote at the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or by mail-in registration. Any resident who will be 18 years of age by May 4th is eligible to register to vote by April 14th.
